The hands of the clock were running fast to busy hour, starting everyday at 1 pm and rising down at 4 pm, Milos got back to prepare the stage for a new day’s play before the arrival of his clients, yet friends - before this - another smile welcomed me to take as many pictures of the restaurant as I wanted, I greeted back with the confidence that experience had grace me with and continue my journey, completely forgetting that in life there is always something else to learn. Making the photo sessionin a restaurant it’s in general an easy task to accomplish, first make sure the spot looks good, then the light must be right, and finally a good angle, what happened this time was that I started thinking on the place as a restaurant, not realizing that I was in the Museum of football History, and that the many T-shirts and pictures hanging on the wall were older and famous than me, besides the grate History behind its presence. I felt petit before the unknown, taking pictures of a T-shirt that had being cheered and applauded by 80,000 fans isn’t the same as taking pictures of a poach room table, I swallow my pride and ask for a football lesson, before a red card put me out of the field.

Milos came to my rescue and suggested me to try some dishes before the class, I opted for sea food and the most difficult dish to prepare in the Peruvian cuisine (Aji de Gallina) just to challenge the local chef, the orders were taken with no trace of hesitation by one of the many gentle waitresses, and my journey continued with Milos leading the path to the outdoors area, lighted a cigarette and prepared himself to open heart and head to a conversation that enlightened my ignorance with a vast spiritual understanding.

When did you decided to open a restaurant?

I didn’t decided anything, at the beginning the main idea was coming to Peru and marry my girlfriend, now My precious wife.

Why downtown , why not Miraflores or San Isidro?

Every city in this world is got charm and the charm dwells in downtown, Lima is got so many beautiful things to show to the visitors, things that in places like Miraflores had being replaced by cold modernity, it’s impossible to find people dancing salsa on the streets in a place divided by aristocracy, here the poor dances with the rich and share a drink under the same sun, my restaurant is more than a restaurant, it’s a meeting point, people comes here for the food but also for the party environment during nights, specially during football matches, then it is completely crazy! because I set up the sound system that you can ear even from 3 blocks away! people is united in an atmosphere when nobody is less than a friend.

    Why Amull’s Wraps?

If I tell you, then I’ll have to kill you.

Right-there before my adventurous tongue started winding up people, a Ceviche cut off the risky chance, my answer never came but I got a Ceviche instead, this time a specialty of the house, a mix of shrimps, octopus and white fish was flirting to my gaze and my instincs. Ceviche, a good conversation and a sunny day… What else can a man ask for? – Would you like to try a Ricky Perez? Asked Milos flashing his big eyes to mine – What’s a Ricky Peres? – I asked back – It’s a drink self invented by Ricky Perez (football player)– What’s in it? I request – a killer mix of Pisco, granadilla and the secret - No more words and bring it on!
The conversation continue, at this point the chat was taking diverse directions, Milos was taking me on a trip from Germany to Peru, making stops in his friendship with Michael Schumacher while working as mechanic engineer, or the adrenaline of being cheered and damn by 80,000 people from one second to the other, Milos could stay the whole day sharing many chapters of his life with me, only 2 days after he met me, and yet he appreciated me as a friend.
